With increased online activity among youth, cyber vulnerabilities and harassment have grown, impacting mental well-being. Building cyber resilience is vital to help youth navigate safely and combat online distress.
Our annual event, the Responsible Netism National Cyber Psychology Conference, brings together experts to address online challenges and promote cyber wellness. Since 2017, it has impacted 20,000 lives, featured 300+ speakers, and contributed to government policy recommendations.
Responsible Netism proudly presents the 9th National Cyber Psychology Conference 2025, themed Youth for Cyber Wellness. This first-ever Youth Conclave aims to promote safe, responsible internet use by empowering youth with digital literacy, online safety, and skills to combat cyber threats like bullying, identity theft, and privacy issues.
Conference Objectives:
- Provide a platform for youth to share their insights and contributions to cyber well-being
- Build capacities to empower youth as cyber safety ambassadors and prevent online distress
Participants: Undergraduate and post graduate students & faculty members.

The conference invites all stakeholders dedicated to children’s well-being to collaborate in advancing cyber wellness, as a nationwide movement. It seeks to foster collaboration among government entities, educators, parents, law enforcement, mental health professionals, and technology providers to collectively enhance the meaningfulness of our education systems. We eagerly anticipate uniting cyber wellness advocates to promote the responsible and positive use of technology.

Theme: Cyber Wellness: Ensuring Mental Well-being in Cyberspace

Cyber is the new weapon, violence in cyber space can permanently, psychologically impact the victims and their families. Various forms of threats ranging from morphing, stalking, solicitation of children for sexual purposes, online grooming, have grave consequences on the victims especially on children, disturbing their mental well-being. Maintaining mental well-being in cyber space is a mission we wish to promote and advocate for, in order to build cyber resilience and minimize the damage caused due to online distress.
The holistic solution to this is Cyber Wellness. Cyber wellness is the well-being of internet users in cyberspace. Cyber Wellness focuses on the preventive aspect of equipping netizens with the knowledge and skills for positive and safe usage of the internet and also provides support during online distress, thereby building cyber resilience.
We are excited to host our 7th National Conference on Cyber Psychology themed “Cyber Wellness: Ensuring Mental Well-being in Cyberspace” on January 21, 2023 at the Upper Room (Hall), 8th Floor, Silvio Heights, St. Inez, Panaji in Goa – 403001. The conference aims at building capacities of mental health professionals to understand strategies of handling online distress and related challenges.
Objectives of the conference:
- Educate mental health care-givers with strategies to understand and address online distress
- Build a strong support system of cyber care-givers to minimize cyber vulnerabilities and make India cyber safe
The conference would be graced by the Hon. Chief Minister of Goa, respected Dr. Pramod Sawant along with stalwarts and domain experts as speakers from the fields of mental health, law enforcement, academia, intermediaries, media houses and the I.T. sector to collectively find solutions to ease online distress and promote cyber wellness. This day-long, free of cost, hybrid conference invites over 10,000 mental health professionals and educators across the country to attend this programme.

Theme: India Fights Cyber Violence against Women and Children

CYBER is the new weapon today! Cyber Violence is violence in cyber-space that has led to violation of cyber rights of individuals, especially those of children and women. We stand against violation of cyber rights of women and children and strongly believe; it is critical to allow everyone to feel safe online. Netizen’s safety rights must be protected from all kinds of abuse and violence. Setting a mission of ‘Making India Cyber Safe for Children and Women’, Responsible Netism a social purpose organization in association with Cyber Peace Foundation, an award-winning Cyber Security think tank, hosted its Responsible Netism 6th National Cyber Psychology Conference themed “India Fights Cyber Violence”, on Saturday,
January 22, 2022.

Creating awareness and providing training about online safety protocols among stakeholders working with children and women
Training people about reporting mechanisms
Creating a strong support system for mental well-being related to online distress

1st Round Table is scheduled on November 22, 2021 from 3 – 5 PM for Nonprofits working with women
The two roundtables were chaired by our dignitaries Shri. Priyank Kanoongo – Chairperson NCPCR and Smt. Rekha Sharma – Chairperson NCW respectively. The 2 round tables focused on educating and training participants about reporting mechanisms so as to strengthen reporting locally and empower organisations to take immediate collective action.
