Mr. Mahesh Varde has been a strong pillar of support to Responsible Netism. Based on his experience and expertise, he provides guidance on legal issues, tax and organizational compliances to be followed by the organization.
Mr. Varde is the Director at Pristine Aerosols Pvt. Ltd, which is into the manufacturing of industrial aerosol products since 1975 catering demanding needs of hundreds of large national & multinational industrial houses in India and abroad.
He has been appointed the Director of committee on Industrial Products and has successfully led the committee since 1974. He is a renowned Philanthropist and has been actively involved in reviving Indian Culture within Thane and the rest of Maharashtra.
His active involvement with various leading non-profits and cultural reform groups has been instrumental in imbibing values related to various forms of art and culture through state and National level programmes He was the former President of Indradhanu for the last 30 years, Indradhanu is a well reputed cultural organization known to host renowned cultural programmes across the State.
He is currently the Founder and President of “Marathi Asmita Sanskrutik Prathishthan Mumbai” and has been involved in conceptualizing “Amrutacha Vasa” – to globally promote Marathi language and culture. He has been instrumental in hosting the following renowned programmes “Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitik Sammelan” and “Akhhil Bharatiya Natya Sammelan” to promote Marathi Literature and Theatre across the state He contributed his time and skills in the event hosted by TJSB Bank titled – “Desh mazha-M e Deshacha” where thousands of children participated in the collective recitation of the National Anthem.
Having hosted many Musical and cultural programmes Mr. Varde has also authored a few books – “Suravatinchya Vatewar” “Ghazal Zhalak”, along with famous singers and music composers. He being a thorough professional with tremendous administrative, managerial organizational and leadership skills he has authored a book titled “Modalities of Events” to educate people about ways and means of hosting events, their technicalities and understanding legal compliances.
Being extremely fond of art and music, Mr. Varde has self- produced Music Album titled “Ecstacy Guruvenamaha” to promote and financially support new artists and bring them into the mainstream by giving them opportunities to present their form of art through his albums.
Dr Anuradha Sovani has been a guide and mentor to Responsible Netism on research related to online trends and behaviours of children and adults related to their online behaviour. She has been appointed as a committee member of the National Scientific Committee for Addiction Prevention and has been working on building content on prevention of internet addiction.
Dr Anuradha Sovani Psychologist and Psychotherapist. Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai. Has formerly headed Department of Applied Psychology, University of Mumbai. Trustee and Consultant, Institute for Psychological Health, Thane, Maharashtra. M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., University of Mumbai. Chancellor’s Gold Medalist at Masters’ level. Recipient of various scholarships and awards, including the UGC Research Fellowship, the National Talent Search Scholarship, the Mankar Prize of the University of Mumbai, and recipient of the best research paper award of the Indian Psychological Association, the award for the best paper published in Disabilities and Impairments and best book award for Children’s literature awarded by Maharashtra State. She has successfully guided twelve Doctoral students, and six more are working towards their doctoral degree.
Dr. Sovani has authored ten Marathi books, four on Child Mental Health, one on Quality of Life, one on couple relationships and couple counseling, a popular new series called “Maanas-rang” as well as over 65 research papers in national and international journals, and book chapters in National and International publications, and has also run various popular newspaper columns. She had worked on a UGC major research project on Treatment Resistant Schizophrenia which is now published as a book.
Dr. Sovani’s SAGE publication is in press: an Indian adaptation of a text on abnormal psychology with elucidation of the cognitive neuroscience underpinnings of the various psychopathologies, as well as a lot of Indian research reviews. She has completed a Shastri Indo Canadian research grant with University of British Columbia on stigma reduction pertaining to mental illness, and is currently involved in an International Rotary funded project on addiction prevention. She has also completed collaborative works with University of East Anglia, UK and with Government of Maharashtra Health Services, and has contributed to E PG Paathshaala modules of the UGC. She was instrumental in developing a collaborative project for PreLitigation Counseling with Mumbai High Court called “Let’s Talk” Her abiding interest in campus mental health, primary prevention programs, and therapeutic interventions like REBT, as well as her interest in psycho-diagnostic assessment reflects in her writing. Dr. Sovani has helped build one of the first gamified recruitment and talent management tools, Nautics; she has helped create Prakashdoot, an audio visual module with FAQs. This module is currently being used as a tool for Universal prevention in remote Maharashtra to spread awareness about Depression and Substance Use Disorders.
She has served as Consultant to National and State level bodies including NIMH and Yashada and serves on several institutional ethics committees including ADAPT and RGMC, Kalwa. She consults on a number of committees for Prevention of Sexual Harassment. Interest areas include community awareness about mental illness and health, mental health of children and women, working through the print, newspaper columns and audio-visual media.
Mr. Ashok Panvalkar provides his expertise to Responsible Netism on Media visibility and publicity. His expertise and experience in the field of media has been instrumental in crafting Responsible Netism’s media presence.
Former Executive Ediitor, Maharashtra Times - Joined MaTaa in 1983. Was appointed as In-charge Editor of Maharashtra Times on April 06, 2008. In 2009, I was appointed fullfledged Editor. Since then have handled all major events of Maharashtra Times successfully including Mata Sanman , Mumbai Times Carnival, Shravan Queen, Litt. Festival etc. Since January, 2011 under my leadership Maharashtra Times was launched in Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Jalgaon & Ahmednagar.. MaTaa Helpline, a social initiative is a unique event by MaTaa was launched after I became the Editor.
With special interest in Foreign Affairs, have written columns, ‘Deshodeshi’ and ‘Jagaachyaa Paathiwar’. Written daily columns during the Afghanistan War, extensively on Iraq War. Later wrote a column called 'Net-Bhet', a book of the same name was published too. Wrote a weekly column called 'Tarang', for seven years.

Dr. Shetty has been instrumental in supporting the cause of mental well-being in cyber space. He specializes in the space of internet addiction, cases of internet addiction received by Responsible Netism are referred to him and to mental health professional across the country through him.
Dr. Harish Shetty is a senior renowned social Psychiatrist at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital and has an experience of 39 years in this field. He completed MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital in 1982 and M.D. (Psychiatry) from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1986. He is a member of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Indian Psychiatric Society. Some of the services provided by the doctor are: depression treatment, de-addiction, gastroenteritis treatment, violent patient management, disaster victims and suicidal behaviour,
Dr. Harish Shetty is a practicing Psychiatrist with a postgraduate degree in Psychological Medicine and a post graduate diploma in Comparative mythology from Bombay University. He completed his MBBS, DPM and MD from T. N. Medical College and Seth G. S. Medical College respectively. Dr Shetty worked in the field of Yoga and Mental Health under the illustrious Professor Dr. N. S. Vahia for 12 years and also obtained rich experience in various areas of mental health work.
He was appointed a consultant at the Sevadhan De-addiction center and the National Addiction Research Center [Govt. of India funded] in 1989. He served at both these centres till 2000. Dr. Harish Shetty has immense experience in School Mental Health and has conducted workshops for students, teachers, School Heads & the Non-teaching staff for more than two decades. He has aided in championing the rights of the children across all his life.
His petition with the Maharashtra Human Rights Commission to abolish the ‘Segregation‘ practiced in schools i.e. separating children by virtue of marks and dumping those who score less in a separate division in schools was accepted and the Segregation was abolished. A letter sent by to the CJ Bombay high court also was taken suo moto and Segregation abolished in schools (2006). His latest petition in 2015 in the BOMBAY HIGH COURT on Learning Disabilities has facilitated the starting of Learning Disability Detection Centers in every district of Maharashtra. This is an ongoing petition that aims at building systems for children with learning disabilities across the country. All the Boards are party to the same. Dr. Harish Shetty is working in the area of ‘suicide prevention’ and is actively working in schools and colleges. This activity is with students and teachers. His team has parents who have lost a child of suicide as resource person.
Dr Harish Shetty taught at TISS for a decade around 1990’s. He is a visiting faculty in various universities including the S.N.D.T Dr Shetty has immense experience in the field of Disaster and Mental health and has worked with the victims of the Marathwada Earthquake, Kandla cyclone and the riot affected in Gujarat. He also has been assisting victims of piracy involving Somalian pirates. He has extensively counseled the victims and their family members.
Dr Shetty has also been identified as one of the 17 young mental health workers by the World Health Organization and invited twice for training in the years 1995 &1996 respectively. He has also founded “ Maitri” an organization that works with families affected by mental illness and has been instrumental in training a large number of medical personnel in the field of mental health. Dr Harish Shetty evolved and conducted a REFRESHER COURSE FOR SCHOOL COUNSELLORS’ with SNDT as a partner between 2000-2005. He was also invited by the SALZBURG SEMINAR in 2003 for an intensive seminar on LEADERSHIP IN HEALTH. Dr Shetty has several National and International Publications to his credit.
Dr Shetty recently was on the panel of Indian people’s tribunal headed by a Retd high court judge investigating the rehabilitative processes in Gujarat. Dr Harish Shetty is also involved in the training of the Judiciary at the judicial officers training institute [J.O.T.I Nagpur] supported by UNICEF on mental health. Dr Shetty recently trains municipal school teachers continuously for two decades on mental health & education. In 2003, he was in Afghanistan training the medical personnel in managing psychosocial consequences of disaster As a trainer and a researcher he has conducted hundreds of training sessions for different professionals in the country including the medical profession. Dr Harish Shetty has been training the Judiciary for more than two decades at J.O.T.I [Nagpur] and the Judicial Officers Training Centre at Uttan Mumbai for more than two decades. He is in the process of assisting Bombay High Court in setting up a Prelitigation Counselling centre for warring couples inside its premises. As a psychiatrist he has been a member of committees appointed by the Bombay high Court overseeing the work of the M.D.C centers that houses mentally retarded children. He has been a star witness in the infamous Panvel and thane orphanage cases of child sexual abuse where convictions were granted to offenders. He has assisted the Bombay High Court in various mental health issues. Training peace activists working in communally sensitive areas in India has been an ongoing area of interest and activity. He has been a resource in more T.V & Radio always. He is the NATIONAL PRESIDENT of MY HOME INDIA an NGO that aims at integrating Rest of India to the North East.
Adv. Vaishali Bhagwat is a well-known practicing cyber lawyer. She provides her expertise on legal compliances, provides support to victims of cyber crimes reported through Responsible Netism and is a strong voice that advocates for online safety across various government platforms.
Adv. Bhagwat has over 20 years of experience in litigation and advisory. Heading a 50-year-old all service law firm in Pune, Vaishali specializes in Information Technology Law, Data Protection and Privacy, Commercial Law and Civil Laws. She appears before the District Courts and Bombay High Court alongwith Tribunals such as the NCLT, DRT, TDSAT and Adjudicating Officer ( Cyber).
She is a TCS Chevening Scholar on “Cyber Policy and Cyber Defense “ and has earned the PG Cert Degree from Cranfield University UK. Her clients are from various sectors such as Banking and FinTech, Manufacturing Publication, Media and Entertainment, Healthcare and Educational Institutions.
Adv. bhagwat is an external member on POSH / ICC committees of several companies and has conducted trainings for Board members, Sr. management, ICC members. She is also an advisor to various educational institutions on implementation of the Child Protection policies. SHE is deeply committed to causes relating to girl’s education, women empowerment and keeping children safe online and has won several recognitions and awards for her pro bono work including the prestigious NASSCOM / DSCI award for her work in “Keeping children safe Online “.
She was invited to speak at the Rotary Annual Convention at Seoul on “Keeping children safe online” and to Ho-Chi-Minh City Vietnam as a Chief guest for the Annual Security Consultants conference to speak on Cyber Resilience. She has served on the Board of Trustees of the Lila Poonawala Foundation and is a member of the experts group formed by the Maharashtra State Commission for Women on cyber violence against women and leads a program on women empowerment and skill development with the Family Court at Pune in association with Rotary.
Adv. Bhagwat is a popular speaker and is invited on various industry and professional forums, Police and Judges training academy and is also a visiting faculty at various law colleges. She also holds other responsible positions such as Co-Chair of IAPP Pune chapter, District Officer Rotary Dist 3131 and also is an independent Director at Renishaw India.
Mr. Brijesh Singh has been instrumental in supporting Responsible Netism on cyber-crime related cases from the Law enforcement perspective and on research related to cyber-crimes and strengthening reporting mechanisms.
Currently designated as A.D.G of Police, Govt. of Maharashtra. He was the former Secretary & Director General, Information & Public Relations and Special Inspector General of Police, Government of Maharashtra
Brijesh Singh headed Maharashtra Cyber, a unit looking after Cybersecurity of Government of Maharashtra. He led the implementation of MH Cyber Project, CERT MH and Predictive Policing units. He also implemented a unique project of Automated Multi-Modal Biometric Identification System (AMBIS), which is the first initiative in India, where IRIS, Face recognition, Finger and Palm prints will be used for identification of criminals. He was also designated as I.G of police Women Atrocitites and Cyber crime, a special authority created by the Maharashtra Govt to tackle cyber threats. He is an awe inspiring orator, an author of two best selling books titled “ Quantum Siege” and “Dangerous Minds of India”.
Previously, he has implemented huge and successful projects like Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & System (CCTNS) project, other IT schemes for Policing. Presently he is also heading the CCTNS Task force developing big data solutions and analytics on crime data. He is also a published Author. Has penned thriller "Quantum Siege" for Penguin books. Dr. Mukul Joshi brings in his expertise on research, mental health and organizational development into Ahaan Foundation and Responsible Netism. He undertakes the responsibility of human resource management, organizational planning and policies.
With more than 22 years of work experience, Mukul has extensively partnered with CEOs and Senior Executives, Project and Cross functional teams and Systems (small, medium and large scale organizations) to facilitate complex business and people transformation and change. Mukul has founded a boutique consulting firm PO – Potential & Possibilities and partners with professionals from diverse industries. His areas of expertise include strengthening organization effectiveness through diagnosing organizational performance issues (Structure, Competency, Talent) - designing and implementing large-scale transformational journeys, talent strategies, as well as senior team and leadership development and coaching, transformation and change management. Mukul also has extensive experience in Talent Pipeline Management and Employee Engagement. Prior to establishing his own consulting practice in 2016, Mukul was associated with EMC as an Internal Organization Development Consultant, Head - Talent & Organization Development - in GVK Infrastructure, Head OD – Gammon India and Senior Consultant at Infosys Leadership Institute. Mukul was a researcher / associate professor between 1997 and 2006.

Besides this, Mukul is also associated with senior executives from Insurance, ITES and Data Storage companies as an Executive Coach. He has led multiple enterprise-wide business transformations such as strengthening employee engagement of a 100,000 strong company, and redesigning talent recruitment and development strategy to prepare the business for its overseas expansion. Some of Mukul’s recent work include projects such as supporting the MD and senior team of a precision manufacturing company in the formulation of a culture change roadmap and execution of the roadmap along with the HR team, restructuring the performance management process and transitioning it on to the new IT platform for an IT services company.
Mukul leads the HiPo Development programs at the India arm of an MNC and has been their lead change-agent for the last 6 years. He has facilitated and coached development of over 750+ leaders in the last 5 years. Mukul serves on the Boards of Studies (Psychology) of Mithibai College, N Khandwala College (Mumbai). Mukul is associated with ISABS (Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science) – a national, voluntary society of behavioural scientists as a Professional Member (accredited in 2006). He is also Director - ODCP (Organization Development Certification Program) for the term 2020-2022. Mukul holds a Ph.D. from The M.S. University of Baroda in Psychology and currently resides in Pune, Maharashtra with his family.
Mr. Sujay Patki is a strong voice advocating for internet safety rights of children, he supports in hosting Responsible Netism’s events and programmes and is a huge resource in liaisoning with the government bodies.
Ms. Rasika Kulkarni has over two decades of experience in the Events Industry.
Ms. Kulkarni is also the Director at NSE (National School of Events), the first ever Event Management Institute in central suburbs of Mumbai in the year 2003.
She is a stalwart in the field of Media, Education and Events and a prominent name in Global Strategic Event Management.
Ms. Rasika is the former Chief Event Head: Zee Telefilms, Antakshari, Saa Re Ga Ma Pa and a professional who successfully Managed concerts for artists like Asha Bhosle Ji, Ustad Zakir Hussain Ji & many more.
